An educational visit was arranged for all P.5 students on 29th June. They visited Hong Kong’s most famous walled village, the Kat Hing Wai in Kam Tin, Yuen Long. Those walls were built to defend the villagers more than 500 years ago. The weather was gloriously sunny on that day, but this did not stop our students’ curiosity to know about the history of Hong Kong. It was an experience walking through the old villages. Students also had a look at the colourful mural paintings in a nearby walled village known as “Shui Tau Tsuen”.
