Our most recent Parents’ Day was held on 16th December 2022 and provided parents with a better understanding of students’ progress and school life. Due to social distancing measures resulting from Covid-19, the function was divided into two sessions, with the parents of P1-3 students being invited to attend the morning session and those parents of P4-6 students being invited to the afternoon session. In addition to discussing students’ progress and the distribution of report cards, the aims of the Parents’ Day were the provision of guidance and counselling to both parents and students as well as enhancing home-school cooperation.
In addition to meeting with class teachers, parents and their children also had the opportunity to visit our pop-up health station. This was set up to provide some basic health checks as well as some useful health information for parents. It was clear to see that the parents were highly appreciative of this activity. Similar to last year we were fortunate enough to have the book exhibition in the school hall, where parents were able to purchase a variety of reading materials and stationery to promote reading both at home and in school.
